Chelsea understands the body as a map of patterns that weave together to tell your story.

Your somatic scrapbook begins to unravel on the treatment table when your body is deeply listened and attended to.

Sometimes these parts are found in the muscles or the fascia - and sometimes in the nervous system.

Within the Bodywork container you choose to reclaim big and little parts of yourself, finding the essence of what your body needs, along the way.

Experience the Bodywork on it’s own or choose to deepen your experience with the healing knowledge of Five Element Archetypes. Learn who is really running the show.

BODYWORK TECHNIQUES

Experience a transformative 90min or deep 120-minute somatic meditation.

SHIATSU + ACUPRESSURE

Using Acupuncture Meridians we traverse the Five Element map of your body and discover which areas are calling for a deeper resonance. Often the areas calling for tenderness directly correlate to the Element Archetype needing tending to. Shiatsu involves manual pressure applied to specific points on the body to relieve tension and pain.

SWEDISH

Utilizing a combination of kneading, rolling, vibration, percussive, and tapping movements areas of restriction are reduced. I only use Apricot Oil and deep tissue body butter.

Facial: Mini-Cupping & Gua-sha

Using rosehip oil, this deeply relaxing add-on increases oxygen-rich blood circulation and revitalizes your skin. This is a lovely way to end a massage session. First, Gua Sha to open the lymph drainage and then mini cups to plump the collagen.

DEEP TISSUE & TRIGGER POINT

These deeply healing modalities utilize a type of compression, sometimes referred to as digital pressure, to help relieve trigger points. Together we combine breathwork with targeted pressure to relieve pain and dysfunction. Working within the deep layers of fascia can bring emotions to the surface.

ABDOMINAL CHI NEI TSANG

Chi Nei Tsang is translated as “working the energy of the internal organs”. This Chinese technique helps release emotional blockages by discharging stress. Abdominal massage is done directly over the navel and surrounding abdominal area where tension and negative emotions congest.

REIKI ENERGY WORK

Reiki and Qi work encourages healing energy to flow freely throughout the body, which results in relaxation, and reduced pain and tension. This subtle work happens beneath the surface.

craniosacral THERAPY

Using the Upledger Institute techniques to activate the cerebral spinal fluid that moves within the spine with very light touch. By relinking the rhythm of the central nervous system the parasympathetic nervous systems comes online.

FIRE CUPPING

Fire cupping provides a passive Myofascial release, acting as a reverse massage, it uses suction rather than pressure to ease muscle aches. This technique helps guide fresh blood to painful areas of the body which increases circulation and blood flow. This is an ancient Chinese Medicine modality.

BODY GUA SHA

Full body Gua Sha enhances circulation, hydrates fascia, and drains lymph. It loosens muscle knots, relieving tightness and promoting relaxation. It’s effects are immediate and lasting.

2hour massage $300

specific techniques are only used if clinically appropriate

90min massage $260

MASSAGE FAQ’s

Please do not eat or drink 30 minutes ahead of your appointment

  • What should I wear? Nothing, or underwear if you’d prefer. You are draped with sheets the entire session.

  • What if I don’t want abdominal work? Sometimes bellies are very vulnerable places for people, each session includes an intake to check in about comfort.

  • What do I do after the session? I think of this work as a container for whatever your body needs to heal, begin to look at, shift a story — the list goes on. Sometimes it can be emotional, so its HIGHLY encouraged that you have a post-care plan that focuses on integrating the bodywork for the most effective results. Maybe someone else cooks.
